we seen the tags and heard some rumours... there is a need to clear things up..few issues,prom dates, teachers,and payment..
1st)
PROM DATETHERE IS NO NEED FOR ONE! this prom is a little different from the ones which need a prom date.. you can come together with your big group of friends(or small grp.. wateva.. you like can le..).. if you are really like to have a prom date, pls find one in our list of confirmed pple(you will have to check that out yourself though). this is so as we can't afford to have more pple coming to this party except who we know are coming..think abt food shortage.. the problems with the hotel staff when we exceed the no. of guest we have confirmed.. then because you ask them to come and we chase them out,the bad feelings *party-crashers,arguements,fights,blood*that will surface..hope you understand and get this clear..no prom date needed and if you insist, only pple in guest list only!
2nd)
TEACHERSWE CANNOT ACCEPT THEIR PRESENCE!there are not even seats for students(stars of the day).. teachers.. we tried to rope them in but due to this prom being a PRIVATE party, teachers cannot come..when teachers come, they will post a few problems..
one, we do something really crazy and the teachers may be wet blankets..
two,who know if they are feeling weird that day and do something that spoil their 'teacher image'..
three, teacher responsibility.VP told us this story.. there was a BBQ organised by a grp of students and they invited their teacher as a friend and not a teacher..then when two students got themselves drown, this teacher has to bear full responsibility..if our teacher come, then something bad happens, he/she may lose his/her job.. you want that?
four..1 teacher comes that means that all the others should have a chance to come and even if not all ,a handful can cause some of the problems listed above.. so do you get the whole picture? TEACHERS ARE NOT WELCOMED TO THIS PARTY!(if you really dun, get ong lai's no. frm someone and ring me up.. i will explain to you..)

PAYMENTpls try to raise the money asap, then if you are afraid that you will squander the money away shortly after you get it, you can pay us shortly after you get the money.. although we stated that the date to collect the money is on the day we have our EL O lvls paper,
you can pay earlier.. we can make use of these money to progress in planning..ong lai should be in school(when it is open) early from around 9am to 1pm at the library next week.. you can try to find him and pay him during these time.. remember..$68.. :) let your friends know abt this..
